Here’s an article from one of my favorite money blogs, http://www.iwillteachyoutoberich.com.  The author has a practical approach to  saving money, such as having “no spending days” (my favorite) and negotiating bills and services.
As I get my financial life in order, I find that I need to be honest about where I’m at, and this list is a good start.
